Adria Ellen was born on May 23rd, 1880 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Adria Ellen's father was Benjamin Franklin Shipley and her mother was Elizabeth Mullinax. Her paternal grandparents were David Shipley and Rachel Shipley; her maternal grandparents were James Mullinax and Mary Dykes. She had a brother and three sisters, named Orgie Iven, Mary Etta, Mittie R. and Susan. She had four half-brothers named Walter B., David J., Thomas E. and Clay Evans. She died at the age of 78 in 1958.-
