Mittie R. was born in 1884. Mittie R.'s father was Benjamin Franklin Shipley and her mother was Elizabeth Mullinax. Her paternal grandparents were David Shipley and Rachel Shipley; her maternal grandparents were James Mullinax and Mary Dykes. She had a brother and three sisters, named Orgie Iven, Adria Ellen, Mary Etta and Susan. She had four half-brothers named Walter B., David J., Thomas E. and Clay Evans. She died at the age of 76 in 1960.-
