Katherine was born in 1789 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee. Katherine's father was Henry Price and her mother was Catherine Wax. Her maternal grandparents were Henry Wax and Margaret Geschwind. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Isaac, Henry, George, Jacob, Susan Or Susannah, Hannah, Elizabeth and Mary. She died at the age of 68 in 1857 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.-
