William Owen 
William was born in 1858 in , Bourbon, Kentucky. William's father was George Washington Owen and his mother was Elizabeth. His paternal grandparents were Robert Owen and Nancy Foster. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Joseph M., George, Nancy, Sarah C., Elizabeth, Fannie, Cynthia, Mary and Carrie. He was the youngest of the ten children.-
