George Owen 
George was born in 1849 in , Bourbon, Kentucky. George's father was George Washington Owen and his mother was Elizabeth. His paternal grandparents were Robert Owen and Nancy Foster. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Joseph M., William, Nancy, Sarah C., Elizabeth, Fannie, Cynthia, Mary and Carrie. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.-
