Joseph Nance 
Joseph was born on February 5th, 1790 in , Henry, Virginia. Joseph's father was Reuben Nance and his mother was Nancy Brown. His paternal grandparents were William Nance and Ann Eppes. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Clement, Stephen, Payton Skipper, Edmund, Lessonby, Reuben Saunders, Sarah and Nancy. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 60 in 1850.-
