John Latture Morrell

John Latture was born on November 16th, 1903 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.  John Latture's father was Samuel Robeson Morrell and his mother was Margaret Elizabeth Hart.  His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Morrell and Mary Agnes Latture; his maternal grandparents were Edmund Hart and Mary Hilton. He had six brothers and a sister, named Joseph Robeson, Jonathan Edmond, William Davis, Frank Alexander, Frederick Walker, Samuel Roy and Sylvia Agnes.  He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 70 on December 7th, 1973.
