Martha Edna Moody

Martha Edna was born on February 9th, 1838 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.  Martha Edna's father was William Hunt Moody and her mother was Mary Edna Childress.  Her paternal grandparents were George Moody and Hannah Pope; her maternal grandfather was William Burton Childress. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Adam L., James C., John A., William Lane, Frances E., Mary Jane and Hannah Ellen.  She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She had seven half-brothers named Dewitt Clinton, George E., Thomas S., Joseph W., Wesley, Benjamin D. and Bluford T..  She died at the age of 38 on May 17th, 1876.
