Bluford T. Moody

Bluford T. was born in January 1865 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Bluford T.'s father was William Hunt Moody and his mother was Byer Whaley. His paternal grandparents were George Moody and Hannah Pope; his maternal grandparents were Lester Whaley and Sarah. He had six brothers named Dewitt Clinton, George E., Thomas S., Joseph W., Wesley and Benjamin D.. He was the youngest of the seven children. He had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Adam L., James C., John A., William Lane, Martha Edna, Frances E., Mary Jane and Hannah Ellen. He died at the age of 54 on August 25th, 1919.
