Martha Mitchell 
Martha was born in 1833 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Martha's father was Stockley Donaldson Mitchell and her mother was Alice Gale Rogers. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Mitchell and Elizabeth Saunders; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Rogers and Mary Amis. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Richard Pinckney, James Galbraith, Clinton A., Stokely Donaldson, Hugh W., Alice and Amelia. She was the third oldest of the eight children.-
