Richard Henry Massengill 
Richard Henry was born on March 10th, 1828 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Richard Henry's father was Michael Massengill and his mother was Louisa Buckingham Cobb. His paternal grandparents were Henry Massengill Jr. and Penelope Cobb; his maternal grandparents were Richard Caswell Cobb and Rebecca Buckingham. He had five sisters named Penelope Louise, Massengill, Rebecca Cobb, Massengill and Barsheba Stuart. He had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Joseph Torbett, William Allen, William, Sarah, Lucretia S., Lucinda Evaline and Susan S.. He died at the age of 62 in 1890 in Virginia.-
