William Massengill 
William was born in 1849 in Tennessee. William's father was Michael Massengill and his mother was Hannah Torbett. His paternal grandparents were Henry Massengill Jr. and Penelope Cobb. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Joseph Torbett, William Allen, Sarah, Lucretia S., Lucinda Evaline and Susan S.. He had a half-brother and five half-sisters, named Richard Henry, Penelope Louise, Massengill, Rebecca Cobb, Massengill and Barsheba Stuart. He died at the age of 47 in 1896.-
