Reuben Lawson 
Reuben was born in 1764 in Virginia. Reuben's father was Bartholomew Lawson and his mother was Susannah Simkins. His paternal grandparents were William Lawson and Isabel Kenney; his maternal grandparents were John Simkins and Elizabeth French. He had ten brothers named Moorman, David, Randolph, William, John, Elisha, Peter, Philip, Bartholomew and Jacob. He was the youngest of the eleven children.-
