Julia Ann Kite 
Julia Ann was born in 1818 in Virginia. Julia Ann's father was Jacob C. Kite and her mother was Catherine Slagel. Her paternal grandparents were Martin Kite and Catharine Kiser; her maternal grandparents were George Slagel and Catherine Kainath. She had five brothers and four sisters, named William H., George D., Oliver Hazard, Jacob R., Martin Van Buren, Isabella Perkey, Mary Catherine, Angelina and Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the ten children.-
