Josiah Godwin 
Josiah's father was Thomas Godwin Colonel and his mother was Mary Pitt. His paternal grandparents were Edmond Godwin and Mary Mills; his maternal grandparents were Henry Pitt and Mary West. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Mills, Allen, Edmond Pitt, Henry, Joseph, Mary Ann, Julia and Louisa.-
