Robert Godwin 
Robert was born in 1589 in Of, Somersetshire, England. Robert's father was Anthony Godwin and his mother was Elizabeth Maye. His paternal grandparents were William Godwin and Christian Burges; his maternal grandparents were Robert Maye and Dorothy Mallett. He had a brother and a sister, named John and Joan. He was the oldest of the three children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named William, Thomas, Christian and Alice. He died at the age of 55 in 1644 in , Somersetshire, England.-
