Thomas Godwin 
Thomas was born in 1587 in Brightwell, Berks., England. Thomas' father was Anthony Godwin and his mother was Joan Goad. His paternal grandparents were William Godwin and Christian Burges. He had a brother and two sisters, named William, Christian and Alice. He was the youngest of the four children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Robert, John and Joan. He died at the age of 56 on March 20th, 1643.-
