Bessie Laura Ford 
Bessie Laura was born in 1908 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Bessie Laura's father was Amanuel Oralgile Ford and her mother was Eunice Elizabeth McCulley. Her paternal grandparents were John William Ford and Ann E. Childress; her maternal grandparents were Samuel McCulley and Juletta Shipley. She had a brother and three sisters, named John Samuel, Mary Esther, Julia Grace and Alia Blanch. She was the second youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 28 in 1936.-
