Robert Denton 
Robert was born on August 23rd, 1817 in , Washington, Virginia. Robert's father was David Denton and his mother was Catherine Blessing. His paternal grandparents were James Denton and Deborah Gerow; his maternal grandparents were Jacob Blessing and Elizabeth Messersmith. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Jacob A., David James, Susan, Deborah and Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 45 on August 30th, 1862 in , Washington, Virginia.-
