David Denton 
David was born in 1786 in , , New York. David's father was James Denton and his mother was Deborah Gerow. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Denton and Martha Purdy; his maternal grandparents were Daniel Giraud and Elizabeth Coutant. He had a brother named James. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 70 on December 23rd, 1856 in , Washington, Virginia.-
