James Hiram Cox

James Hiram was born on March 27th, 1840 in , , Tennessee.  James Hiram's father was Samuel Cox and his mother was Barbara Hammond. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Charles R., Emanuel R., Martin V., John M., William T., Sarah Jane, Rachel Ann and Mary Ann.  He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He had two half-brothers named Samuel Chester and Andrew Jackson.  He died at the age of 73 on July 4th, 1913.
