Charles R. Cox

Charles R. was born about 1830 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.  Charles R.'s father was Samuel Cox and his mother was Barbara Hammond. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Emanuel R., James Hiram, Martin V., John M., William T., Sarah Jane, Rachel Ann and Mary Ann.  He was the oldest of the nine children. He had two half-brothers named Samuel Chester and Andrew Jackson.  He died in 1880.
