Emanuel R. Cox

Emanuel R. was born in 1832 in , , Tennessee.  Emanuel R.'s father was Samuel Cox and his mother was Barbara Hammond. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Charles R., James Hiram, Martin V., John M., William T., Sarah Jane, Rachel Ann and Mary Ann.  He was the second oldest of the nine children. He had two half-brothers named Samuel Chester and Andrew Jackson.  He died at the age of 48 in 1880.
