John Christian 
John was born on December 11th, 1816 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. John's father was John Christian and his mother was Nancy Skelton. His paternal grandparents were Lewis Christian and Margaret Felkner; his maternal grandfather was William Skelton. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named William Lewis, Lewis, Thomas Jefferson, Seth, Allen D., James, George, Margaret, Ruth and Nancy. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 75 on May 11th, 1892.-
