James Christian 
James was born in 1828 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. James' father was John Christian and his mother was Nancy Skelton. His paternal grandparents were Lewis Christian and Margaret Felkner; his maternal grandfather was William Skelton. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named William Lewis, Lewis, Thomas Jefferson, John, Seth, Allen D., George, Margaret, Ruth and Nancy. He was the second youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 47 on December 18th, 1875.-
