John Pitzer Charles 
John Pitzer was born on July 19th, 1817 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. John Pitzer's father was James Charles and his mother was Dorcas Miller. His paternal grandparents were James J. Charles and Tabitha Senter; his maternal grandparents were Peter Miller and Sibyl Pitzer. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Jacob Miller, Clinton Armstrong, Wylie B., Nancy, Elizabeth, Mary and Tabitha L.. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 83 on April 19th, 1901.-
