David Fort Champion 
David Fort was born on October 10th, 1834 in , , GA. David Fort's father was Micajah Fort Champion and his mother was Elizabeth Martin. His paternal grandparents were William Champion and Mary Fort; his maternal grandparents were George Martin and Lavenia Geiger. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named William, George Martin, John Fort, Andrew Fort, Elias Fort, Marion Eley, Micajah James, Daniel Huff, Martha F., Lavenia, Rebecca and Sarah Frances. He was the third youngest of the thirteen children.-
