Jonathan Doan 
Jonathan was born on March 17th, 1806 in Chatham, NC. Jonathan's father was Ebenezer (twin) DOAN and his mother was Elizabeth STOUT. His paternal grandparents were John DOAN and Elizabeth PIKE; his maternal grandparents were Peter STOUT and Hannah BROWN. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Ephraim, William, Mahlon, Hannah, Rachel, Nancy Ann and Sarah. He was the youngest of the eight children. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Nathan, George Washington, Zacharias and Abigail. He died at the age of 27 on June 29th, 1833 in Orange Co., IN.General Notes
