Ebenezer (twin) was born on October 26th, 1768 in Cane Creek, Chatham Co., NC. Ebenezer (twin)'s father was John DOAN and his mother was Elizabeth PIKE. His paternal grandparents were Joseph DOAN and Mary Carter; his maternal grandparents were John PIKE and Abigail OVERMAN. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Ephraim (twin), Johnathan, Mary , Jesse ., Ruth, Elizabeth (twin) and Martha (twin). He was the oldest of the eight children. He had seven half-brothers and a half-sister, named Thomas, Joseph, Jacob, Robert, Abigail , John , Henry and Hanna. He died at the age of 69 in August 1838 in Mooresville, Morgan, IN.General Notes
