Matilda de Maurienne 
Matilda was born in 1125 in of Chambery, Savoie, France.1 Matilda's father was Amadeus III de Maurienne Ct de Savoie and her mother was Maud de Albon Cts de Albon. Her paternal grandparents were Humbert II le Gros de Maurienne Ct de Savoie and Gisele de Bourgogne-Ivrea; her maternal grandparents were Guigues III Raimund Ct de Albon and Mathilde of England. She had a brother and a sister, named Humbert III le Saint de Maurienne and Maud. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 32 on November 4th, 1157 in Coimbra, Portugal.1 -
