Almode was born in 1015 in of LaMarche, Normandy, France.1 Almode's father was Bernard I Ct de la Marche & Perigord and her mother was Amelie (Aldearde) de Thouars. Her paternal grandparents were Adalbert I Ct de la Marche & Perigord and Almode de Limoges; her maternal grandfather was Raoul I de Thouars Vct de Thouars. She had a brother named Alberic III. She had a half-brother named Hugh 'le Debonnaire' V. She died due to Murdered by her step son, Pedro Raimundo de Barcelona. at the age of 56 on November 16th, 1071.1 -
