Pierre Capet de Courtenay 
Pierre Capet was born in 1126 in France.1 Pierre Capet's father was Louis VI Capet le Gros King of France and his mother was Adelaide (Alix) de Maurienne. His paternal grandparents were Philippe I Capet the Fair King of France and Bertha de Hainault; his maternal grandparents were Humbert II le Gros de Maurienne Ct de Savoie and Gisele de Bourgogne-Ivrea. He had five brothers and a sister, named Philippe, Louis VII Capet le Jeune, Henri, Hughes, Robert Capet de Dreux I and Constance Capet. He was the youngest of the seven children. He had a half-sister named Isabelle. He died at the age of 57 on April 10th, 1183 in Palestine. He was buried in Church of St. Sophia, Constantinople.2 -
