Rebecca Mattox was born on November 27th, 1832 in , Cape May, NJ.1 Rebecca Mattox's father was John Gandy and her mother was Martha Corson. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Gandy and Elizabeth Springer; her maternal grandparents were Lewis Corson and Rebecca Maddox. She had three brothers and a sister, named Lewis Corson, Francis, John Jones and Lydia Ann. She was the third oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 49 on January 13th, 1882 in Ocean View, Cape May, NJ.1 -
