Lydia Ann was born on August 31st, 1830 in , Cape May, NJ.1 Lydia Ann's father was John Gandy and her mother was Martha Corson. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Gandy and Elizabeth Springer; her maternal grandparents were Lewis Corson and Rebecca Maddox. She had three brothers and a sister, named Lewis Corson, Francis, John Jones and Rebecca Mattox. She was the second oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 76 in 1906 in , Cape May, NJ.1 -
