Richard FitzRoger de was born in Tunbridge Castle, Kent, England.1 Richard FitzRoger de's father was Roger de Clare the Good Earl of Hereford and his mother was Maud de St. Hilary. His paternal grandparents were Richard FitzGilbert de Clare Lord Clare and Alice de Gernons le Meschines; his maternal grandparents were James de St. Hilary and Aveline (de St. Hillary). He had two sisters named Mabel and Avaline. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named William de Albini V, William and Agnes (Avice). He died on December 30th, 1218.1 -
