Gilbert FitzRichard de Clare was born in 1065 in England.1 Gilbert FitzRichard de Clare's father was Richard FitzGilbert de Clare and his mother was Rohese Giffard. His paternal grandparents were Gilbert "Crispin" Ct de Brienne and Gunnora de Aunou; his maternal grandparents were Walter Giffard Earl of Buckingham and Agnes Ermentrude Fleitel. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Richard FitzRichard de Clare, Robert FitzRichard, Rohese FitzRichard and Avice. He died at the age of 52 in 1117 in England.2 -
