Henry de Beaumont was born in Buchan, Aberdeen, Scotland.1 Henry de Beaumont's father was Louis d' Acre de Brienne Ct de Beaumont and his mother was Agnes de Beaumont. His paternal grandparents were John I de Brienne King of Jerusalem and Berengaria de León de Castile; his maternal grandparents were Raoul VI de Beaumont Vct de Maine and Agnes (du Maine). He was an only child. He died in Brabant.1 General Notes

The first Baron Beaumont, Henry de Beaumont, was the younger son of Louis de Brienne, of Acre, *jure uxoris*, Vicomte de Beaumont in Maine and grandson of John de Brienne, King of Jerusalem.
