John FitzAlan II was born in May 1223 in Shropshire, England.1 John FitzAlan II's father was John FitzAlan Baron Cluny & Oswestry and his mother was Isabel de Albini. His paternal grandparents were William FitzAlan III Baron Cluny & Oswestry and Mary de Lacy; his maternal grandparents were William de Albini V Earl of Arundel and Matilda (Mabel) le Meschines. He was an only child. He died at the age of 44 in November 1267 in England.1 -
