His paternal grandparents were Baudouin IV "Fair Beard" Ct de Flanders and Ogive de Luxemburg; his maternal grandparents were Robert II Capet the Pious King of France and Constance de Arles. He had a brother and a sister, named Baudouin VI the Peaceable and Matilda (Maud). He had two half-sisters named Alix and Elena. He died at the age of 60 in 1093 in France.1 -
