Prudence Beckwith

Prudence was born on August 22nd, 1676 in Lyme, New London, CT.¹   Prudence's father was Matthew Beckwith and her mother was Elizabeth Unknown.  Her paternal grandparents were Matthew Beckwith and Mary Elizabeth Lynne. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Matthew, John, James, Jonathan, Elizabeth, Ruth and Sarah.  She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She had a half-brother named Griswold.  She died at the age of 92 on November 21st, 1768 in Wethersfield, Hartford, CT.¹
