Matthew Beckwith

Matthew was born in 1645 in Hartford, Hartford, CT.¹   Matthew's father was Matthew Beckwith and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Lynne.  His paternal grandparents were Marmaduke Beckwith and Anna Dyneley. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Nathaniel, John, Mary, Sarah and Elizabeth.  He was the second oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 82 on June 4th, 1727 in Lyme, New London, CT.¹
