Jonathan Beckwith

Jonathan was born on December 27th, 1673 in Lyme, New London, CT.¹   Jonathan's father was Matthew Beckwith and his mother was Elizabeth Unknown.  His paternal grandparents were Matthew Beckwith and Mary Elizabeth Lynne. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Matthew, John, James, Prudence, Elizabeth, Ruth and Sarah.  He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He had a half-brother named Griswold.  He died at the age of 59 in 1732.¹
