Dariusz was born on July 30th, 1965.  Dariusz's father is Zdzisław Szczepański and his mother is Danuta Szczepańska (Piwowarczyk).  His maternal grandparents were Michał Piwowarczyk and Stefania Piwowarczyk (Orczyk). He had a sister named Barbara.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died at the age of 37 on June 12th, 2003.
