Robert was born on July 30th, 1564 in Rattlesden, Suffolk County, England and his christening took place there on July 30th, 1564.1  Robert's father was Thomas Whotlocke and his mother was Joan Whatlock.  His paternal grandparents were John Whatlock and Agnes Whatlock; his maternal grandfather was John Whatlock and his maternal grandmother is <Unknown>. He had a brother and three sisters, named Rodger, Martha, Anne and Dorothy.  He was the second oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 58 on October 18th, 1622 in Rattlesden, Suffolk County, England.  He was buried on November 7th, 1622 in Rattlesden, Suffolk County, England.1 1
