Rodger was born on May 25th, 1561 in Rattlesden, Suffolk County, England and his christening took place there on May 25th, 1561.1  Rodger's father was Thomas Whotlocke and his mother was Joan Whatlock.  His paternal grandparents were John Whatlock and Agnes Whatlock; his maternal grandfather was John Whatlock and his maternal grandmother is <Unknown>. He had a brother and three sisters, named Robert, Martha, Anne and Dorothy.  He was the oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 61 in 1622 in Rattlesden, Suffolk County, England.  He was buried in 1622 in Rattlesden, Suffolk County, England.1 1
