Margaret was born on November 29th, 1873 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.1   Margaret's father was Alexander Mitchell and her mother was Hanna Arthur.  Her paternal grandparents are David F. Mitchell and Betsy M.; her maternal grandparents are John Arthur and Catherine McQuaid. She had two brothers and a sister, named Alexander, John and Elizabeth.
