Dana D. Huckins

Dana was born on June 3rd, 1830 in New Hampton, Belknap County, New Hampshire. Dana's father is Daniel Huckins and his mother was Abigail Dow. His paternal grandparents are Deacon James Huckins and Dorcas Bickford; his maternal grandparents were Jonathan Dow and Sally Hanniford. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named Nathan, David, Jonathan, Daniel, Calvin, Daniel, Joseph, Hosea, Sarah and Abigail. He was the tenth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 34 on May 13th, 1865 in Bay City, Bay County, Michigan.
