Porter Dow (Peter)

Porter was born in 1801 in Walden, Caledonia County, Vermont. Porter's father was Nathaniel Dow and his mother is Esther Gilman. His paternal grandfather was John Dow and his paternal grandmother is <Unknown>. He had five brothers and three sisters, and also three siblings of unknown gender, named John, Nathaniel, Zebulon, Hazen, James, Betsey, Sally, Polly, Dow, Dow and Dow. He died at the age of 73 on April 15th, 1874.

General Notes
- After living in Canada for a time, Porter returned to Walden, Vermont in 1850. He moved in his old age to a son's home.
