Martha was born on May 7th, 1829.  Martha's father was Henry Dow and her mother was Elizabeth Lowd.  Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Dow and Elizabeth Seavey; her maternal grandparents are Daniel Lowd and Mary Tucker. She had a brother and a sister, named William and Hannah.  She was the oldest of the three children. She had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Isaac, George, Henry, Thomas, Joseph, Elizabeth, Martha and Mary.  She died in an accident or as a result of an injury, Carriage Accident, at the age of 52 on October 2nd, 1881.
