Isaac Dow

Isaac was born on December 24th, 1754. Isaac's father was Henry Dow and his mother was Martha Perkins. His paternal grandparents were Isaac Dow and Charity Berry; his maternal grandparents are James Perkins and Huldah Robie. He had a brother and three sisters, named James, Hannah, Martha and Mary. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died after 1791.

General Notes
- When the church was enlarged in 1781, he paid at auction $5,425 for one of the five new pews. This was in Continental currency, then at 75 for each gold dollar.

Occupation Details
- From 1775 to 1776 Isaac's occupation was Soldier for New Hampshire Militia.

    - Isaac served under Captain Jacob Webster.
  From 1783 to 1784 his occupation was Selectman for Town of Rye, in Rye, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.
